Capes of Kamloops – Free Movies

August 22, 2025

Capes of Kamloops, free public screenings with accompanying podcast interviews shine a spotlight on Kamloops’ unsung heroes – Capes of Kamloops is a video podcast being made with the support of TELUS STORYHIVE, which aims to showcase and celebrate local everyday heroes through the exploration and analysis of film.

Every other Wednesday we will be hosting a FREE PUBLIC SCREENING at the Paramount Theatre to honour a hero profession. We will later host a filmed podcast interview with a local hero from that profession, to reflect on how their work is showcased in the film and learn more about their occupation and its connection to Kamloops.

TELUS STORYHIVE is encouraging attendance and community involvement for this FREE film screening so our local heroes feel celebrated and appreciated by the community, and to have Kamloops enjoy more local cinema.
