Opera Talks
This season, Kamloops music lovers and the opera-curious are in for a treat. Dramatic soprano Heidi Muendel has curated three free, interactive, and educational Opera Talks in partnership with the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra. Joined by other local artists, she will explore this season’s productions, share the history and artistry of opera, offer live demonstrations, and answer audience questions.

November 15, 2026 – Intro to the 2026-27 Season hosted by local soprano, Heidi Muendel. Discover the operas, composers, and performers featured in the Metropolitan Opera’s upcoming Live in HD season.
February 13, 2027 – Opera in Focus with guest artist. Gain a deeper appreciation of an opera from this season’s lineup through expert insights, live demonstrations, and audience Q & A.
April 17, 2027 – Concert Lecture. Enjoy live musical performances and insightful discussion with special guest artists in this unique concert lecture experience.
