This series celebrates the iconic director-composer partnerships that have shaped cinema. From Fellini and Rota, Cronenberg and Shore, Demy and Legrand, Argento and Goblin, to Spielberg and Williams and of course Carpenter and Carpenter. Together, these duos created distinctive cinematic worlds where sight and sound became inseparable.

The Thursday Film Series is a weekly curated series of film screenings featuring Canadian, independent and international films. The TFS Committee currently runs four Film Series:
- FALL (September to December),
- WINTER (January to February),
- SPRING (April to May),
- SUMMER series (July to August).
Networking Opportunities
Words & Reels: A book and film club in partnership between the Thompson Nicola Regional Library and the Thursday Film Series (TFS). Patrons will read and discuss an assigned book and film that have a shared theme.
Post-Film Chat: Look for updates on the post-film chat location.
