Sensory-Friendly Screenings

What is it?
Sensory Friendly Screenings are designed to better accommodate individuals with diverse sensory needs
- Lowered audio
- Less dimmed lights
- Freedom for audience members to move around or take breaks as needed
- Screenings are scheduled during times when the theatre is quieter, and less busy to avoid congestion and loud noises in the lobby and other areas of the theatre
Why?
As a community-driven cinema, we want to ensure that everyone can participate in cultural events—like going to the movies.
There are some children and families—that miss out on the movie-going experience just because the traditional setting is challenging for those who have diverse sensory needs. We believe that going to the theatre is a wonderful outing that everyone should have equal opportunity to experience together.
