The KFS invites you to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM)

As a valued member of the Kamloops Film Society (KFS), your participation in the Annual General Meeting is essential.

This meeting is your opportunity to directly influence the direction and future of independent cinema in Kamloops. It is not only your right to vote on key decisions—including the election of our Board of Directors—but it is also our duty to ensure you are fully informed about the organization’s activities and financial health.

This is your opportunity to learn more about the Society, ask questions of the Board of Directors, hear the 2025-2026 financial report and the Board Chair’s and the Executive Director’s reviews of the past year.

Only Members of the Society can participate fully in the AGM, including voting for the 2026-2027 KFS Board. If you’re not yet a Society member, please join at www.thekfs.ca/support-us/ and enjoy the many year-long benefits of KFS membership.

Community support for our mission is vital, and we have been fortunate to have a vibrant membership, ongoing support from the arts and culture sector, and the unwavering sponsorship of many businesses and non-profits in our region.

The KFS is proud to be one of the longest-serving arts organizations in Kamloops and, since taking over the operations of the Paramount Theatre, the Society is poised to continue its mission: bring the world to Kamloops through film, diverse programming and screen-based events at the Paramount Theatre. Through our Thursday Film Series, annual Kamloops Film Festival, Stseptékwles re Sk’elép (Coyote Stories) Indigenous Film Festival, and other micro festivals and film series, the Society brings people together through film to foster a vibrant, inclusive cultural life.
